Donate

Our organization (UNIFARM) lead by GERARD Tiko'or Akenji, a Cameroonian Refugee, works tirelessly to create sustainable sources for food for refugees. Donating to us helps maintain a equitable food system for the people. Food insecurity is a major issue that we face so supporting farmers like us can improve the health and well being of many individuals. Small-scale farmers like us are overlooked, but we play a major role when it comes to serving the community.

Benefits of Donating

Sustainable Practices

Supporting farmers who help people can also promote sustainable agriculture practices. Industrial agriculture has been linked to negative environmental impacts, including soil degradation, water pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. By supporting farmers who use sustainable agriculture practices such as agroforestry or organic farming, individuals can help reduce these negative impacts and promote a more resilient and sustainable food system.

Resources

When farmers have access to resources and support, they can play a critical role in promoting food security and community health during times of crisis such as climate change or economic downturns. By supporting these farmers, individuals can help ensure that communities have access to healthy food and build long-term resilience in the face of global challenges.

Education

Supporting non-profit organizations like us that advocate for education can help promote community development and empower individuals to create positive change. Education is a critical tool for promoting social and economic mobility, and for building resilience in the face of global challenges. By supporting organizations that provide educational resources to farmers and community members, individuals can help build long-term resilience and promote community development.
